The Undercity
Enter the City

Your street name, avatar, titles and record are your public face. Other players can inspect your profile, whisper you, and hunt you.

  • Street name. Unique across the city, ignoring case, accents and extra spaces — "Rafaél" and "RAFAEL" are the same name. Picked once for free; afterwards it can be changed with Gold (20 Gold, once every 30 days). Your old name stays reserved for you for 30 days.
  • Avatar. 12 free presets; swap any time on your profile. No photo uploads.
  • Chat. A global room, a private gang room, and whispers (direct messages). You can reply by quoting (drag a message left, or use the ⋯ menu), like any line, and delete your own (drag right — it goes for everyone and cannot be undone). Messages are filtered for abuse; you can report a message and block a player.
  • Crime Mail. The Mail page lists everything you sent and received, and a player's name → Mail opens the same form: up to 5 items and cash per mail. Cash leaves your pocket with a 5% fee on top; items travel free and the equipped one never goes. Nothing arrives until the recipient accepts — then the cash lands in their bank. Declined, cancelled or unanswered in 7 days, it all goes back to the sender: items to the inventory, cash and fee to the bank. After a decline, the sender waits 24h to mail that player again; one sender can have 3 mails waiting on the same player and 10 in all. Level 5+ to send, up to 20 mails an hour, and anyone who blocked you cannot receive.
  • Presence. A player shows as online when they did something themselves in the last 5 minutes; what other players do to them doesn't count.
  • Notifications cover fights, thefts, sales, releases, gang invites and wars; push notifications reach the apps and the browser: turn them on in Profile (on an iPhone, with the game added to your Home Screen). While you are playing, an alert shows in the game and is not pushed; after 3 min without touching the game, pushes come back. Each device gets its pushes in the language it shows the game in.

Captain Fábio

  • Who he is. Captain Fábio is the city's police in the chat, played by an AI. He reads every line, in every room, against the Community Rules: swearing and trash talk are fine; hate, threats, sexual harassment, spam and scams are not.
  • In the global chat he makes a round every 1h: he removes the lines that broke a rule and says why, naming the player and the rule. The first time is a warning, at most one every 10 minutes however many lines go.
  • Anything heavier goes to a person. A fine, a chat block, a suspension or a ban is always decided by the judge, who sees what Captain Fábio flagged and can say he got it wrong: the line then comes back and his warning is lifted.
  • Gang rooms and whispers are the members' business: there he only steps in on a grave case. A person then sees that one message, never the conversation around it.
  • Before posting, a short list of slurs is refused outright. Everything else is judged in context, so a word with an innocent meaning keeps it.
